English Skills Development

Course Description

English Skills Development is designed to improve students' basic reading and writing skills. As such, this course is designed to meet the needs of the individual student. For example, some students may wish to improve their reading skills so they are able to read with their children. Others may wish to study the driver's manual or take a first aid course. Still other students, particularly those who have been out of school for a number of years, may need to practice their reading and writing prior to beginning Continuing Education's Grade 11-12 courses. One-on-one volunteer tutors are available to assist students in achieving their goals.

This course is for any adult who wants to improve their reading and writing skills.
