Initial Interview Adults wishing to upgrade at Continuing Education first speak to the Coordinator to discuss their academic goals.

 
 
If Continuing Education can meet their goals, adults are asked to fill out a registration form and sign up for an academic assessment. Registration form

 
 
Assessment This assessment, which is offered every second Wednesday morning 9:00-12:00, asks students to demonstrate their reading, writing, and mathematic skills. There is no charge for this assessment.

 
 
On the following Monday 9:00-12:00 students are asked to return to go over their assessment result to determine their starting point in upgrading their academic skills. Planning the Courses

 
 
Learning the Ropes At this time students are given an orientation to a computer managed instruction system (Pathfinder Learning System) and to the SRA reading program. Students may start any time after this once they have paid for their courses.
