Continuing Education is a school for adults who wish to take academic courses to upgrade skills, to improve basic literacy, or to complete a high school graduation diploma. People who are already high school graduates can add courses to gain prerequisites for post-secondary programs or can retake courses to improve grades. Adult students learn how to learn again by taking workshops in study skills, introductory computer skills, and learning and memory skills. Located in Campbell River, British Columbia, Canada, the Continuing Education Centre also offers courses to learners at a distance, using the Internet. Support services for distance education students are also available.
